Sabarica

Did you know that Malaysia can grow Arabica coffee?

Sabah grown Arabica species of coffee, grown at an elevation of 1300 to 1500 masl (metres above sea level)

at Mount Kinabalu, which is the highest mountain peak in Southeast Asia.

This coffee has achieved great heights and yet they still strive for more! Being graded as specialty coffee with a cupping score of 83 out of 100 points, it is no small feat and should be something we all, as Malaysians, should be proud of!

Meet Jackz

Founder of Sabarica Coffee.

Jackz Lee, born and raised in Kedah, moved to Sabah to attend university, and has lived there since then.

His passion for coffee has set him on a journey to pursue Arabica coffee in Mount Kinabalu. Jack has since been working closely with the local coffee farmers and helping them to bring the best out of their coffee.

Jack sincerely believes that by working together, we can present this coffee on an international level.

Coffee Farmers

Coffee farmers are the most important people in the coffee business, as they are ones who plant and nurture the coffee plants until it is ready to be harvested, to then proceed with processing with care and keeping quality in mind always.

With Sabarica's sustainable management of the coffee plantation, they have helped the local coffee farmers to enjoy a better living standard while also increasing the efficiency of coffee production and workflow, to cope with the ever increasing demands.
